Robert Grulke "Pull Tab Bob”, a resident of Clinton Township, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, February 2nd, 2020 at the age of 91. He was born on January 10th, 1929 in Erin Township, MI, today known as Roseville, to the late William L. and Adeline S. (Kreller) Grulke. On January 25, 1964, he married the former Ilse "Ruth" Schwenkert, spending 50 years together before her death in 2004. Several years later, Bob’s loving companion Gerda Pickford preceded him in 2010.

Bob served in the United States Army for over 20 years, retiring as a Staff Sgt. in May 1973. He later worked as a serviceman at Guaranteed Exterminator for 15 years. Bob was a lifelong member of several posts, including the New Baltimore VFW Post 7573, Mount Clemens American Legion Post 4, Mt. Clemens American Veterans Post 29, and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 33.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Ilse and companion Gerda, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings William, Arthur, Charles, Edward, Dorothy, Hazel, Adeline, Virginia, and Mary Ann.
