The Memorial Day Parade begins at Michigan's tallest flagpole. The Color Guard stand at attention at the flag. The Color Guard fire a three round volley. The Color Guard line up to begin the parade. We all met back at the VFW for a great steak dinner and prizes This year the course was a little wet. But we don’t let that stop us from having a good time. Has anyone seen my ball? 1st place Voice of Democracy: Sophie Kenyon from St Clair High School 12th grade. 2nd place Voice of Democracy: Jonathan Opolski from De La Salle Collegiate 12th grade. Patriots Pen: Paige Shackett from Immaculate Conception 7th grade. Teacher of the Year: Kirsten Klein from Anchor Bay Middle School South.
